I lived next door to two prostitutes who ran a drug ring (busted) and I would watch heroin and meth addicts shoot up in the streets outside of $7 coffee shops. I loved Portland growing up. It was a magical place for me, and over the years has descended into chaos. Many of my friends have lost their jobs and businesses there, and are doing what the ▶0:08・

Well really this took me 2.5 hours, start to finish from ideation to export, the hardest part was the background design which ended up taking considerably more time than I would like, then I used drag animation and frame by frame to create a mixture of movements. The quote came at the end and was a good fit for what was I struggling with today: trying to get as much done as I can in as little time as possible. It’s a metaphor for my life ▶0:07・
